Hicks and Probey Named to All-Conference Teams

COLBY, Kan. – The Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference announced their 2024-25 DII All-Conference men's basketball teams on Thursday (Mar. 13) and two Larks were listed among the honorees. Sophomore Jammial Hicks earned second team honors and freshman John Probey was named to the third team.

Hicks played a major leadership role for the Larks this season as the only sophomore to make multiple starts. The Kansas City, Kan. native averaged 16.0 points, 3.6 rebounds and just under two assists per game. He scored 20+ points in nine contests with a season high of 26 points against Southeast Community College. Hicks led the team in made field goals (152), three-pointers (49), and free throws (80).

Probey was a major force for Hesston on both ends of the court. The Edmond, Okla. native ranked second on the team in made field goals (116) and three-pointers (48). Probey averaged 12.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game. He had three contests with 20+ points including a dominant 35-point performance at Fort Scott Community College.
